Art Deco platinum ring, circa 1930, centred with an octagonal step cut sapphire of deep velvety blue, held within a crisp geometric frame. The plaque head is lined with 50 rose cut diamonds in graduated rows, finished with fine millegrain and a light openwork gallery. Diamond set shoulders taper to a slender band, giving a clean line on the hand. A compact, architectural jewel that still feels quietly modern, in good condition for its age.
