Yamaha - XS500 - 1977

The XS500 was an important model: the first Yamaha with Double Overhead Camshafts (DOHC) and 4 valves per cylinder.

This Yamaha has been dry and heated stored in a Dutch collection for the last 20 years.

 My husband was a Kawasaki enthusiast, but he also had a small collection of Yamaha's. He sadly passed away four years ago, so the collection is now being sold.

The front brake needs a revision.
The engine turns over and the gearbox shifts.

The new owner will need to check it all over, service it, restart it, polish it and replace all fluids.
