Shusaku Arakawa (Japanese????, Arakawa Shusaku; born July 6, 1936 in Nagoya, Japan; † May 18, 2010 in New York City) was a Japanese painter, graphic artist and architect.

Shusaku Arakawa studied mathematics and medicine at the University of Tokyo and then art at the Musashino Art School. At first he worked as an artist with abstract prints, also in the Dada style. He has lived in New York City since 1961.
