Franca - Holy mary

With strong colours and bold brushstrokes I paint young people going through different states of minds. Being young means you experiencing many things for the first time and dealing with those emotions is for me interesting to paint. This girl in the bus is she going home ? Or to a party or friend? She looks like she is in a melancholic mood reminiscing about her life and watching the world passing by outside. I paint in oils on linen and I have my studio since 2o years in the Netherlands. Under my Alias Franca I am working since 3 years now and will continue to develop my series.
