Traditional Hudoq mask with hat & headscarf,
Mask used during traditional dances in Indonesia - Borneo - Kalimantan province.
Impressive woodworking and beautiful painting.

Pins on top of the hat were used to attach feathers.
Mask wearer bites into the wooden stick and looks through the 2 small holes
Bite marks from the wearer on the stick.
Elastic band goes behind the head.
Beard

Orange-Red color is exceptional.

50cm from chin to hat (not including beard)
35cm from back of wood to tip of nose (face to tip of nose is 29cm)
20cm wide

There is some minor damage: Red headscarf has little dirt, 2 teeth seem to have lost their tip, crack in the wood at the right hand side of the face. The photo tripod (on some pictures) has been used to support the mask to take pictures and is not included.
